Our November monthly mixer was a huge hit! We partnered with Brooklyn chef on the rise, Bryan of Sacred Chef & Co. for a ‘Taste of Thanksgiving’ event. He prepared 4 different styles of Turkey, pies and sauce for our sampling. The drinks for the event, (sponsored by our neighbors over at DRINK PLG) were a varied list of red, white and Rosé wines. Their amazing sommelier matched wines to dishes like the true pro she is. The highlight of the night came in the form of can donations. We kicked off our Holiday Can Drive by asking members to bring 2 cans of non-perishable food items for donation (to be given to the Brooklyn College Food Pantry), and we’re happy to report that our members did not disappoint and we were able to collect over 50 cans! Our Give Thanks & Give Back can drive goes from now until the end of the year. People looking to donate can stop by the front desk and ask Vered or Raven where to leave the items or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Help us make sure the future entrepreneurs of Brooklyn are taken care of.
