BKLYN Commons’ Haiti Relief Supply Drive was a huge success! With the help of our members, partners, and local communities, BKLYN Commons, and Well Cloth’d Inc. were able to collect 3,000+ medical and feminine hygiene supplies for those affected by the 7.2 magnitude earthquake in Haiti.
The collected items will be donated to Capracare, Haitian American Caucus (HAC), Haitian Nurses Network (HNN), Black Ivy Media, and members whose families were directly impacted by the earthquake’s devastation.
In partnership with Military Law Enforcement Veterans Association (MILEVA), Haitian Nurses Network will be flying 10+ nurses to deliver essential items to Jérémie, Haiti on September 6, 2021. Please keep HNN and MILEVA in your thoughts as they embark on this important mission.

In response to the earthquake that struck Haiti, BKLYN Commons has partnered with Black Ivy Media to host a Haiti Relief Fundraiser for Baraderes, Haiti on September 19, 2021 from 6:30-9:30 PM on BKLYN Commons’ PLG/Flatbush rooftop. This fundraiser will directly support the families of our members who have been affected by the earthquake devastation.
