Spring has finally sprung, and just in time for the warm weather BKLYN Commons is reopening
its rooftop and indoor event spaces. Closed at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the
expansive fresh-air site features a panoramic view of Prospect Lefferts Garden community, and
is a popular reprise for members seeking a cozy place to work.

In accordance with CDC and New York State guidelines the popular venue will once again be
open to host a variety of activities including networking events, meetups, and other gatherings at
BKLYN Commons’ Prospect Lefferts Gardens location.

Safety is a priority for BKLYN Commons. In April, Governor Andrew Cuomo authorized the
reopening of event spaces at 33% capacity, up to 100 people indoors and up to 200 people
outdoors.

“There are some things we took for granted before the lockdown, like sitting outside in the fresh
air with colleagues. We warmly welcome that back!” said Johanne Brierre, BKLYN Commons’
Head of Growth.

Over the years, BKLYN Commons built a reputation for hosting seamless experiences that
ranged from pop-ups, networking get-togethers to happy hours, concerts and weddings.

The 3,875-square-foot space, with two floors of open-air workspace, offers a stunning view of
Prospect Park, Grand Army Plaza, the Brooklyn Museum, and the borough’s evolving skyline.

The indoor event hall is a versatile 2,500-square-foot venue with access to a kitchen, as well as
sound and lighting equipment. It has become the go-to venue for BKLYN Commons members
and community residents.

In compliance with Department of Health protocols, social distancing and face covering rules
will be observed to ensure the safety of guests, staff and members. Under the state’s new
guidelines, capacity can increase up to 150 people indoors and up to 500 people outdoors if all
attendees also present proof of a negative Coronavirus test prior to entry.

For a limited time, BKLYN Commons is offering a special reopening rate providing 20% off the
original price.
